Dear students,
few days after our trip, when we called for a debris flow to come...it did arrive ! On Monday 8, just in time to show it off at the conference SEDALP. The video is amazing, several pulses, lots of tree trunks, once it is edited I'll send it to you.
The retention basin has been filled up completely, but only little sediment spilled over the crest. Probably we are talking about a 10,000 m3 event, quite common for the basin. Not the big one...
