This course aims to provide students with knowledge of the evolution in approaches and methods in ELT and skills regarding effective strategies for teaching English as a foreign/additional language in the kindergarten and primary classroom. Drawing on current theories of English Language Teaching (ELT), students will develop concrete understanding of elements that inform current best practice in teaching language to young learners.
