The students will learn how to deal with higher dimensional data, analyse data statistically, judge critically scientific results and conclusions, use specific functions of the statistical software package R, apply methods of inferential statistics
The topics include an introduction to statistical learning, statistical hypothesis testing, multivariate regression, high dimensional problems, classification and resampling methods
