The "sustainable development goals" (SDGs), defined by the United Nations in 2015 (Agenda 2030), are 17 global objectives for a sustainable development. The Province of South Tyrol is committed to these objectives. Through a new so-called "Alliance in teaching and research for a sustainable development" all major research institutions in the region (FUB, EURAC, PTH, Laimburg, Fraunhofer, Naturmuseum, etc.) intensify their cooperation.

The present lecture series discusses various ecological, economical and social aspects of the topic.
